Modge Podge.

Been going through my photo albums on my phone, trying to makes some room (I have 3500+ photos) and I have discovered there are TONS of photos I haven't shared yet.

Let me first start with some ADORABLE photos of Hunter.

This kid is seriously so much fun.
We just love him so much and are having the best time being his parents and watching him grow.
He sure knows how to make us smile.

Next up are some photos of Hunter's stay with Aunt Patty & Uncle Brian while we were in North Carolina. He sure loves them and had so much fun with Nicole and Nathan also.

While we were in North Carolina we visited the Museum of Cape Fear on Valentine's Day. I love anything to do with History so it was neat to get to learn about some of the earlier times of the East.

this metal helmet was HEAVY and he was worried about it messing up his nice hair
(hence the awkward facial expression)

Melissa cut Kevin's hair in her home salon!

We also ate at some GREAT places while we were out East.
My cousin Jessica Smith is from North Carolina and suggested a few places we should eat.
Unfortunately we made it to only one on her list, Bojangles.
Bojangles was delicious.
They are famous for their Chicken 'n Biscuits and that is just what we had.
The batter the chicken is cooked in is incredible and those biscuits! WOW! Didn't need butter or jam or anything. The flavor they had by themselves was so so good.

On our way out of Charlotte on Sunday, we found this incredible place called Shane's Rib Shack.
BEST BBQ Ribs Ever! (Sorry Mom)
Seriously so delicious that we ordered a half rack of ribs to take with us after we ate lunch.
A number one place I would recommend to anyone wanting a Southern BBQ experience.
Their staff was amazing and helped suggest something delicious to eat.
The restaurant was super clean and provided a fun atmosphere.
The food was the most SAVORY BBQ I have ever tasted (and I've eaten all over this country (and a few other countries) and very reasonably priced.
Check out their website to see if there is one near you.
(They actually have one in Arizona!! Might be worth a weekend trip down south)

We shared a plate of Chicken, Pulled Pork & Ribs.

Dear Mr Shane (yes there is really a Shane);
PLEASE bring your delicious BBQ to Utah. I promise to eat there at least once a month for Date night and tell EVERYONE I know to eat there also.
Love Kyla.

The same day we arrived back in Utah, my MOM, sister Haley and my mom's two friends, Jo & Elizabeth, also arrived for a few days visit.
I just LOVE when my mom is here.
She is my best friend and I miss having her so close.
It was so great to get to spend almost EVERY DAY ALL DAY with her and the girls.
We went up to Sundance for lunch one day.
Spent some time at Grandma & Grandpa Goold's.
Went shopping and basically had a blast just being together.
My favorite picture of ALL time.

My Acca-Awesome Sister Haley teaching us the cup song from Pitch Perfect.
Hunter and Auntie Jo

He was SO sad Grandma was leaving.

Well, that's all I have for now.
That should clear up 50+ photos on my phone.
Only 3,450 to go...
How come I have a phobia of deleting photos?
I need therapy.

Happy Tuesday Readers.

eight months old and a first.

Our not so little Hunter turned EIGHT MONTHS old yesterday.
It's amazing to me to think that he has almost been on this earth longer than I was pregnant.
It's also amazing to think how much more I LOVE him being out here in the world then in my belly.
Love it times... a million!

Happy EIGHT Months Hunter Edward.

(Eight Month Photo Shoot Bloopers)

At EIGHT months old....
-I am almost 22 pounds
(this is the cause of EVERY person I meet stating I am a "BIG BOY")
-I am wearing clothes sized for 12-18 months. (Maybe they are right)
-Morning naps are my favorite. I sometimes go back to sleep for two hours after breakfast.
-I love to play with my toys, I have so many that it keeps me busy for hours.
-I love eating moms homemade baby food. Broccoli, pea, carrot is my favorite!
-I am trying SO hard to crawl but my silly body only goes backwards
(hopefully I figure this one out soon. it's so frustrating moving further away from things)
-I love my high chair and love sitting at the table with mom and dad when they eat dinner.
-I still freak out when mom leaves the room and cry when strangers come in and attack me.
-I finally got my first tooth (on thursday night to be exact)
it broke through my gum and mom kind of freaked out when she found it.
(I hope this means they will start letting me eat more of their delicious food)

We love you Hunter.
It is so fun to watch you grow and change every day.
We are very excited about this new tooth and can't wait to start giving you more "big kid" foods.

love day. part ii

I LOVE Love Day.

Heart Top. Forever 21. Purple Pants. Nordstrom. Black Heels. Ross. Pink Heart Earrings (you cant see) Francesca's.

Lovely Evening.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner with Doug & Melissa tonight at Kobe Japanese Stake House.

It was so yummy and such a fun environment.

We tried to go see a movie but ran across this lovely sign in the front of the theater.
Yes.. we were going to see Mama on Valentines Day (it's a husband thing)
Freezing?! Really?? No thanks.

However, Melissa and I each got a rose from the theater staff as we stood inside deciding if we wanted to freeze for 2 hours or not.
NOT.

We picked up a few DVD's and headed back to the house for a night in.
Skyfall, The Village, PJ's, Lindt Lindor Truffles and good company = Perfect Valentines.
