A Frozen Party.

Hayden turned two this month and all she wanted was a frozen birthday. Of course she only wore her Princess Sofia dress the whole week leading up to her party which gave this mama a little anxiety feeling like we had invited the wrong princess to celebrate with. Nevertheless, the party day came and sweet Hayden willingly retired her purple dress for her snow queen blue dress. I spent all week, and maybe a few days the week before, seriously prepping for our party.  We had invited 10 friends to come and celebrate, along with their parents, and I was knee deep in decoration making, party favor gathering and food prepping for what felt like forever. I learned from Hunters 2nd Birthday party that entertaining two year olds for 2 hours is A LOT of work. This realization prompted my interest in hiring a princesses to come for an hour to take more pressure off of my "to do list". It was worth every penny.  With the decorations in place, the table set for our friends, enough food to feed a small army and the cutest little red headed princess ever, we were ready to "Let it Go".

Our food table consisted of; Popcorn (Olaf's Snow Flurries)

 Rice Krispie Treats (Krsitoff's Ice Blocks)

Chocolate Covered Strawberries (Frozen Hearts)

Carrots, Grapes and Pretzels (Sven's Reindeer Snacks)

PB&J's (Hans Sandwiches)

and water (Melted Snowmen)

 And of course there were Coronation Cupcakes. 

Queen Elsa had a royal coronation for Princess Hayden. She read us a story, sang us a song, played us a game and made everyone balloon animals.

She even sang Happy Birthday to our special girl. 

We played Pin the Nose on Olaf. 

And before our friends left we opened presents and gave each friend a special thank you treat.

Target Tuesday - Valentine's Day Addition

I am so excited for this months feature of Target Tuesday. Valentine's Day is this Sunday and I may have gone a little crazy at Target in preparation.  Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays because it's all about LOVE, and although being a wife and a mother gives me the opportunity to LOVE some pretty special human beings everyday, I absolutely LOVE getting to be super mushy and shower my little family with extra goodie LOVE on Valentine's Day. 

I scored HUGE in the Valentine's Day department.  I was able to find some adorable decorations, crafts, fun trinkets for the children Valentine's Day boxes and even some table settings for our annual Valentine's breakfast. 
I was in love with all of the cute gift bags, name tags, craft stickers and foam hearts we found and the kids made some adorable Valentine's to give to Dad.

I am totally <3 eyes over these cute red milk jugs and the perfect holiday straws.  How cute will these be for our Valentine's Day breakfast?

I'm obsessed with these Valentine's Day card envelopes for the kids valentine's day cards.  These arrow pens will be so fun for them to sign their names with. Way to go Target.
