Agnes & Dora - Harem Pants

Back in September I attended a blogger event and each attendee received a pair of Agnes & Dora Leggings.
If you haven't heard of A&G you are probably living under a rock somewhere without social media.
I had heard of A&G and nothing but raved reviews from EVERYONE I knew.
I was thrilled that I finally had a pair of my own, and after wearing these fabulous leggings everyday for a few weeks (not even exaggerating) I decided I needed more!
At the end of last year, the SUPERB team from A&G sent me a pair of their Women's Harem Pants, which I was anxious to wear and review.

I will be honest, I had to look up on google what a Harem pant was and Google took me to Wikipedia which told me that:
"Harem pants or harem trousers are baggy, long pants caught in at the ankle."
I was instantly intrigued.
I pulled this fabulous printed pair of pants out of the packaging and wore them around the house, again, for days, and then weeks!
I LOVE the Polyester/Spandex blend fabric of the A&D Harem Pants.
The Spandex allows for stretch and comfort while the soft Polyester feels amazing against your skin.
I love the high waist (which you can't see in my photos, sorry) and I died over the fabulous deep loose pockets.

That print? Amazing Right??
I am always crazy about a wild print and although this one screams BUSY, the black and tan color make it a perfect staple neutral for every women's closet.

As a mother of two busy littles I am always grateful when I can find comfort with style.
Agnes & Dora did just that, and I will for sure be purchasing another pair of their Harem pants (and probably leggings... and a maxi skirt... and pencil skirt....) VERY SOON!

Be sure to visit Agnes & Dora's shop.

The Nightstand.

If you're busy like me you probably have a million things to do all day, everyday and cannot wait to crawl into your bed at night and pass out.
Well, if you are really like me you have a nightstand that is just as busy and full as your day to day life.

It's probably my downfall and the reason I don't instantly drift into dream land when my head hits the pillow at night, but lately, nighttime is when I get a few minutes to myself.. or as I have now come to refer to it; "mommy time".
After a long day playing mom, I like to get into my PJ's, crawl into bed and play Kyla.
Weird Huh?

Some of my personal private moments happen surrounding this nightstand.
Not even just in the evenings. Sometimes it's personal scripture study before the kids wake up in the morning, or a quick read from my book club reading list mid afternoon.
I always have an ice cold cup of water, the baby monitor (of course) close by and, not pictured, my phone.

Last, but not least, my computer.
I try not to do too much blogging, photo editing, or online shopping in bed but it happens.
Anyone else guilty?

Whats on your nightstand?

Christmas Twenty Fourteen.

This year we had a quiet Christmas at home and were able to celebrate with my sister Haley and mother-in-law Linda.
My sister wasn't able to get the holiday off to travel home, so we were so blessed that she could be with us and we could carry out some of our favorite traditions here in Utah.
My parents sent home a million presents with us when we left Sacramento which literally doubled our Christmas stash.
My kids were absolutely spoiled.
Christmas Eve we did the Ford tradition of a Scavenger Hunt, which led Hunter to one present under the tree, which, of course, were his Christmas Pj's.

Again, my parents bought matching PJ's for all of us, so we all got in our PJ's and then opened our Christmas Ornaments.

My mom pretty much NAILED my ornament this year. Probably my favorite one ever.

We tucked the kids in bed and stayed up for a few hours playing "Santa's Little Helpers" and getting everything ready for Christmas morning.
It is still one of my favorite things, to play Santa and make the Christmas magic come to life like my parents did year after year while I was growing up.
It also FINALLY snowed on Christmas Eve as we were crawling into bed.
Well played Father Christmas.
Christmas morning the kids actually slept in until 8am. It was a Christmas Miracle in itself.
We went through our stockings, or couches in the kids case, and then jumped right in to tackle the 137398203219 presents under the tree.
I literally couldn't get them to stop peaking downstairs for a quick top of the stair photo.

Auntie Haley got some pretty AMAZING gifts this year also.
One she was CLEARLY shocked by.

Annual, shovel the snow on Christmas morning.

Another Ford tradition to have Abevelskievers for breakfast.
They were SO yummy this year.

It was wonderful to have Kevins mom here while she was in town during the holiday.
We were lucky to have her.
Gingerbread house making in the afternoon.

I didn't feel well most of Christmas morning so I was so lucky to have some awesome help in the kitchen.

Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday surrounded by those you love most.
