The Grass is always greener...

We have GRASS!!

(And yes I took photos of the ENTIRE process)

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I apologize for my grass overload but I am so excited about it.

Honestly, it makes such a big difference to not be surrounded by yucky dirt.

We were thrilled when the developer agreed to add landscaping to the house when we sent in our offer to buy the home.

We are in a fairly new area and there are a handful of homes that are not landscaped and it looks so unfinished.

After the first week of living in the home I was done with all of the yucky dirt that was being drug into the house from outside. We have a vacant lot to the west of us and a home being built to the east and it's dusty EVERYWHERE.

(Probably a reason for my coughing the last two weeks)

They were supposed to start landscaping on Monday March 25th, but a prior project held them up and pushed our start day to Thursday March 28th. 

All week I would watch out the window waiting and hoping the landscapers would show up. 

Edge homes hired Automated Rain Sprinklers & Landscapes to do our yard and they were great. We worked with Doug and he was so nice and informative and answered any and all of our questions. 

We were VERY happy with their service.

They got right to work when they finally arrived and our yard quickly was leveled out and had sprinklers in it.

Then they put in the fire pit area, our two trees, our mailbox, and curbed the flower beds.

Finally our yard was completed with beautiful, fresh, new, GREEN GRASS! 

It is so much nicer to look out our windows, or to pull up to the house in our car and see the lush green grass all around.

I feel so lucky that we were able to have the yard finished with the home. 

I could not imagine trying to do all that work ourselves.

Two weeks until we can walk on the grass but I am thinking we should have a s'mores night at our place once that time is up!!

Yes, I think you should all come.

Oh, can tomorrow really already be Friday?

I am so excited that I get to sneak out for a few hours tomorrow night with some of my favorite bloggers to attend the Fashion Place Mall Fashion Show!
