Christmas Twenty Fourteen.

This year we had a quiet Christmas at home and were able to celebrate with my sister Haley and mother-in-law Linda.
My sister wasn't able to get the holiday off to travel home, so we were so blessed that she could be with us and we could carry out some of our favorite traditions here in Utah.
My parents sent home a million presents with us when we left Sacramento which literally doubled our Christmas stash.
My kids were absolutely spoiled.
Christmas Eve we did the Ford tradition of a Scavenger Hunt, which led Hunter to one present under the tree, which, of course, were his Christmas Pj's.

Again, my parents bought matching PJ's for all of us, so we all got in our PJ's and then opened our Christmas Ornaments.

My mom pretty much NAILED my ornament this year. Probably my favorite one ever.

We tucked the kids in bed and stayed up for a few hours playing "Santa's Little Helpers" and getting everything ready for Christmas morning.
It is still one of my favorite things, to play Santa and make the Christmas magic come to life like my parents did year after year while I was growing up.
It also FINALLY snowed on Christmas Eve as we were crawling into bed.
Well played Father Christmas.
Christmas morning the kids actually slept in until 8am. It was a Christmas Miracle in itself.
We went through our stockings, or couches in the kids case, and then jumped right in to tackle the 137398203219 presents under the tree.
I literally couldn't get them to stop peaking downstairs for a quick top of the stair photo.

Auntie Haley got some pretty AMAZING gifts this year also.
One she was CLEARLY shocked by.

Annual, shovel the snow on Christmas morning.

Another Ford tradition to have Abevelskievers for breakfast.
They were SO yummy this year.

It was wonderful to have Kevins mom here while she was in town during the holiday.
We were lucky to have her.
Gingerbread house making in the afternoon.

I didn't feel well most of Christmas morning so I was so lucky to have some awesome help in the kitchen.

Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday surrounded by those you love most.
