1st Birthday Weekend Celebrations. (3 weeks later)

Kevin and I had to be in LA for business the weekend Hunter turned ONE, so we made sure we took complete advantage of being in California on his special day.

We skipped out on most of our meetings and spent TONS of time celebrating our little guy for FOUR days.

On Thursday we did Disneyland.

Friday we cruised around LA and the surrounding areas. 

We drove down Rodeo Drive.

Stopped for some cupcakes at the famous Sprinkles.

Tried to creep on some famous people 

(driving around the neighborhoods hoping we'd see someone)

And took an evening drive by the Los Angeles Temple.

 That night we hung out in our hotel holding on to every last minute with our "baby".

(I probably only cried 100 times)

Saturday, June 22, 2013 our Hunter turned ONE YEAR OLD.

We had a delicious breakfast at our hotel and then headed out for an afternoon at the beach.

Clearly a Birthday Beach Bash was a success.

After some much needed showers to get off all of that fun sand, and naps all around, we went to dinner at Islands! 

Hunter got a yummy kids meal and Birthday Dessert. 

Mommy had the most DELICIOUS burger ever.

(That Aoli stuff is really addicting)

Clearly he was excited to dig in.

We all crashed at the end of such a fun filled day. 

I think it's safe to say he had a GREAT 1st Birthday.

Sunday we hung out in Santa Monica at the 3rd St Promenade before our flight.

Such a fun area.

An outdoor mall area right by the ocean.

Tons of great food, street entertainers and gorgeous weather.

Before we knew it we were back at the airport heading home.

It was an amazing, incredible and PERFECT birthday vacation.

I am so grateful for a husband who works so hard so that we can play even harder.

I am so blessed with a beautiful smart little boy and am overwhelmed with joy at the fact that he is ours forever.

We love you Hunter Boy.

Happy 1st Birthday.
