It’s the highest, holiest service assumed by humankind. It’s the definition of selfless service. It’s both a daunting responsibility and a glorious opportunity.
The divine role of motherhood is a gift from God, and key to His plan of happiness for all His children.

_______________
What a Special day for Women all over the world.
Grandmothers, Mothers, Mother-to-be.
Adopted mothers, Birth Mother, Surrogate Mothers.
How special that there is a day set aside to celebrate such incredible women who fulfill this divine roll of raising children.
I am so grateful for the mothers in my life.
My Mother.
There really aren't words to properly give you all the credit you deserve for being the most incredible mother.
I have been so blessed to get to call you mom for the last 26 years.
I am so grateful for all you have taught me and continue to teach me about being a wife and a mother.
You are my best friend.
I love our talks on the phone and LOVE even more that you get to come and play as often as you do.
I feel so blessed that my children have a grandmother like you who chooses and wants to be so much apart of their lives.
How lucky are they to have someone who loves them as much as you do?
Thank you for being strong and showing me how important it is to stay close to my Savior during some of the hardest times in your life. You have endured so much as a daughter losing her mother early and a mother having to bury a child. I will forever be changed because of how I have watched you at times like these stay true to what you believe, close to those you love and stronger then anyone I know.
I love you so much mommy.

My Mother-in-Law.
I am so grateful that you are Kevin's mom. You raised an amazing man and I know you deserve credit for the wonderful husband and father he is.
Thank you for loving me and always making me feel welcomed and loved.
Thank you for loving my children. You are a wonderful Grandmother and we are all so lucky to have you in our lives.
My Grandmothers.
To Grandma Honey.
Who left this earth when I was just 5 years old.
Thank you for raising a wonderful daughter to whom I have been so blessed to call mom.
I am sure she takes after you in many maternal ways and I know you are looking down and are so proud of her.
To Grandma Goold.
Thank you for always being such a big part of my life. I have been so fortunate to have a close relationship with you and I absolutely adore seeing you with my children.
You are such a strong, brave and funny lady. I love you.
My Aunts.
To all of the incredible women I am blessed to call Aunt.
Most through marriage and a few "Adopted" Aunts I've picked up over the many years.
You are all so special to me. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing group of women who have directly impacted the woman, wife and mother I am today.
I thank you all for your love and example.
My Cousins.
You each are so special and I have loved watching you all be mothers and loved watching what fabulously adorable little human beings you create!
And this year my heart is so full as my sister Aubrey celebrates her first Mothers Day.
I love you so much sister. I am so proud of the woman and mother you are.
How lucky is Big J to have been brought to your family?
I know his life will be richly blessed because you are his mom.
There are so many other women who have been and continue to be incredible examples of what a mother should be.
I feel richly blessed to have you all in my life teaching me how to be a worthy mother.
_______________
And thank you to these two incredible children who call me mom.
Thank you for choosing to come to me.
Thank you for letting me be the one you wake up before the sun comes up, the one who cooks your chicken nuggets, tucks you into bed, wipes your poopy bum and picks up all your messes.
Even more importantly...
Thank you for letting me love you, hug you, kiss you, teach you about The Savior and how to love others.
I am so grateful for you both and look forward to a lifetime and longer of being your mother.
Happy Mothers Day
