Fall Trip Part III - Beach, Vegas, St George.

just when we thought our fall trip couldn't get any better, we headed to the beach.
pure bliss.
growing up in CA, I'm a sunshine girl at heart.
one of the reasons i take a fall trip out west each year is for one last "oo-ra" of warmth, sunshine and beach before the NASTY cold front moves in to Utah.
it was a perfect day for the beach.
splashing in the waves, collecting seashells and taking mud baths made for a fabulous afternoon in Newport.

The sand seriously had GOLD specks all over. It was stunning.

immediately after showers from the beach, we packed our suitcases and headed from LA to Vegas.
we spent the next morning doing all sorts of touristy things in Vegas.
Well, the touristy things you can do with kids.
Mandatory crepe stop for breakfast.
M&M Factory visit and The Shark Reef Aquarium.
it was all pretty awesome.

$.51 souvenirs are the BEST idea ever.

 Bye Nevada.

Hello St. Geroge, Utah.

our last stop of our fall trip was in St. George Utah.
such a fun one night stay before heading home.
we spent Sunday morning walking the temple grounds.
Hayden made friends with the sister missionaries who just adored her.
Hunter was given a piece of stone that helped make the temple.
Hunter was also quiet concerned that there wasn't an Angel Moroni on the temple.
The sweet temple worker was able to tell Hunter that because the temple steeple was made of wood and because angel Moroni is too heavy, he couldn't be placed on top.
Hunter was satisfied with that answer and every time we drive by a temple with an Angel Moroni (which happens DAILY when you live in Utah) Hunter is sure to remind us of the temple that doesn't have an angel on top.

clearly our fall trip was a success.
memories, learning experiences and irreplaceable time with the ones we love best.

thanks for coming back for parts II and III of our Fall trip.
