Olive The Things.

My Dear Readers.
I have been dying to share with you so many happenings, but if you follow my Instagram or Facebook you know life has been crazy in the Ford world.
Between travels, working extra hours and sick kids, I have kind of forfeited my precious blogging time.
Blogging/mommy time honestly happens at night once the kids are in bed and the last few weeks I have not had the mental capacity to stay up a minute later then my children have, especially on the nights little Hayden slept in our bed.
I am beyond grateful for those readers who stick around and are patient as I try to juggle everything going on in my life.
This blog is so important to me as it documents our little family happenings (I consider it our "family history journal") so I hope you understand when I'm away for a bit herding that little family.
It means the world to have you following along.
xo.

Today I am so excited to share with you an adorable outfit that Hayden was sent from my sweet blogging friend Kimberly.
I met Kimberly at one of my blogging events earlier this year and then partied with her again back in September at the Slumber Soiree.
Kimberly, who blogs over at Olive The Things, shared with me her exciting news about her own shop, Olive The Things, over on Etsy.
I am always blown away when a friend starts a new venture and even more blown away by the incredible talents these friends have.

Olive The Things on Etsy is an adorable shop for boutique style clothing for little ones.
Kimberly is the sweet mama to two adorable little kids Olivia (whom her shop is named after) and Axel. She and her husband Adam live in Utah where they are working, playing and raising their children.

Kimberly has been sewing since she was 8 years old. When she turned 10 she got her first sewing machine. Years later she would teach high school sewing. She started Olive The Things (the shop) over a year ago but has really been working hard to promote and get things moving the last four months or so.

I may have squealed in excitement when these baby leggings and bodysuit showed up in our mail last month.

Obviously, as stated SEVERAL times before, we (the Ford girls) are BIG fans of Gold.
The grey and gold striped leggings are the perfect fit, comfortable, easy to move in (which is a big thing when you are a baby and the only way to get around is by crawling) and I just adore the way baby leggings make little diaper bottoms stick out!

The glitter gold heart bodysuit is a beautiful simple staple every little girl needs in her closet.

Along with adorable bodysuit and leggings, Olive The Things also carries sweaters and hoodies for your toddlers as well as an adorable Mommy & Me Sweatshirt pack.

Obviously, I will need to order one of those soon.
I am kind of crazy about anything mommy & me.

Check out Olive The Things on Etsy.
You can also follow her shop's Instagram page for sneak peeks of new products and awesome giveaways!
Of course, she has a Facebook also.

Thanks so much Kimberly for sharing your incredible talent with us.
We loved the product and will be sending all of our friends your way!

KinderCompanie BowTies.

Hunter received a lovely surprise in the mail way back in March and I have been dying for a few occasions/Sundays where we could show off his new accessories.
The amazingly talented Christy at the KinderCompanie sent Hunter two of the most adorable little person bow ties I have ever seen.
I am so in love with this beautiful handmade product.
I seriously DIED when I opened this package and saw these beauties.

The Natural/Sand Linen bow tie is the perfect accessory for a colored collared shirt for any occasion.
Hunter wore it on Easter Sunday last week and it paired so well with his pink shirt.

And how ADORABLE is this Vintage Rocket Bow tie?
PhotoCred: KinderCompanie
Hunter wore the Rocket bow tie on Hayden's Blessing day and got so many compliments.
Such a handsome little dude.

Each bow tie fastens with Velcro for easily styling, especially for a CRAZY toddler.
KinderCompaines bow ties are 100% cotton and they offer a range of sizes from Newborn to Teens.
(Adult sizes are also available for an extra charge)
KinderCompanies fabric patterns are fresh and unique.

Hunter is so excited to have a bow tie and look handsome like Daddy.
I think I might just have to order matching bow ties for Hunter and Dad for Fathers Day.

Thanks to KinderCompanie for sending us these fabulous goodies!
Be sure to head over to their shop and pick up some of these fabulous bow ties for your little guy.
They also have a few accessories for little girls so be sure to check those out to.

Meet SutterSisters.

Since I started blogging, I have been very fortunate to meet many talented people who have started their own businesses with some incredible products.
I love supporting local businesses, finding shops with homemade products and using these amazing products in my home and for my children.

One INCREDIBLY talented friend of mine owns one of said shops.
Meet Amelia of SutterSitters
Amelia and I went to school together in Sacramento.
This lady is seriously one of the most talented women I know.
She is a fireman's wife and mommy to one handsome boy and the most adorable twin girls.
Bow Ties, Bibs, Headbands and her amazing Mocs are just a few children's accessories SutterSisters offers!

I was spoiled by SutterSisters with a fabulous goodie bag of products to use and review!
I seriously died when Amelia handed me this fabulously put together bag while I was home visiting last month.

Of course I couldn't wait until I got home to break out the goods, so sweet little Hayden wore this adorable gold headband for our photo shoot we had with Baelee Michelle Photography while we were in Sacramento.

The material is great quality and the bow didn't leave a mark on Hayden's head like some bows do.

What about this Gold Polka Dot Bow Headband? You all know the pink and gold kick I have been on since before Hayden was born and this headband just reminded me how much I love gold polka dots!

We have also got a pair of Mocs that are still a little big for tiny miss Hayden's feet, but let me tell you these Mocs BELONG in her shoe collection.

The quality of these Mocs is incredible.
The Mocs are made with a double lining of felt and a leather/suede sole.
How gorgeous is this stunning color?

Hayden has also worn the SutterSisters headwraps around the house and she LOVED them.

How cute are these.
I NEED one for myself.
Again the pattern is awesome and the stretchy fabric allows the headwrap to fit perfectly around Hayden's tiny head.
I love that I can re-tie the knot on front to make it smaller for her now and bigger for her as she grows!

-Right now SutterSisters is offering the Gold Bow Headband bundled with the Gold PolkaDot Bow Headband that Hayden wore for just $8.50
Two beautiful bow headbands for an incredible price for your little princess!
You can find the Gold Bow Bundle Here.

-Also, starting today SutterSisters is launching 30 new bow designs and offering a discount for her feature on FordOlogy!
How awesome for our readers?!?

Head over to SutterSisters Shop RIGHT NOW and order your bows and tons of other fabulous accessories!

Thank you so much SutterSisters for sharing your fabulous products with miss Hayden.
We have loved the headbands and headwraps and are looking forward to the day those beautiful Mocs fit her little feet.
We will be customers for life!

FromOurHomeDesigns - An Etsy Shop's Grand Opening and Giveaway!

If you've been following along here on our blog or via Instagram, you know that I have been busy this first month of the new year working on LOTS of projects.
Kind of a New Years Resolution/ preparing for baby/ doing something for myself personal goal.

One of my new years resolutions was to open an Etsy Shop.

I have been working like mad trying to get Hunter's Big Boy room and Baby's Nursery completed and I decided I wanted a handful of prints for each space.
After days of searching I found TONS of amazing prints from so many talented shops on Etsy, but I knew I wanted mine to be more specific to each room.
So I made one.
And then another and before I knew it I had made a handful of custom prints.

Truth be told;
I didn't think it could be too hard, however, it definitely takes time and creativity.

I was so thrilled with my results and I now have adorable prints hanging in both children's room and some signs on my front door also.

I didn't think this specific craft would be what I would start my Etsy shop with, but after a few requests from friends and family, I have decided to open our shop (starting out slow) with a few of the prints I made for my home.
I am excited to see where our little shop goes and hope to add more prints and other products throughout the year!
