Wink Naturals and a Giveaway!

This week, I am excited to FINALLY be able to share with you a mommy must have product from a brand that we have been using daily for a few weeks now and have been loving. 

If you follow my social media accounts (which I hope you all do) then you know that my little Henry Hugglemonster has been quiet the teether, 8 teeth by 10 months, and it has led to countless sleepless and painful nights for the poor guy... and mommy.  After two rounds of ear infections we were finally able to put these two products that Wink Naturals had sent us to the test. 

We had been on the search for a good natural and drug free teething gel after months of painful teething with our little guy and I was so impressed by what  Wink Naturals Cool Gum Teething gel offered.  The Cool Gum Teething gel gently cools and soothes tender gums without the risk of exposure to any added preservatives. Winks natural formula, with no added drugs or medicine, made it the safest option for our little one.  I had never thought to put a teething gel in the fridge, DUH, and when Wink Naturals suggested I store their teething gel in the fridge I was blown away by the results.  Henry loved the added instant cooling relief and it seemed to work for hours before we had to reapply. 

Along with making little Henry's mouth comfortable, we started to get into a more strict bedtime routine in hopes to calm and soothe him for a good nights rest despite his pain. As part of our new bedtime routine we started using Wink Naturals Pure Sleep and Breathe chest rub.  Pure Sleep and Breathe is also made of natural oils like lavender and eucalyptus radiata, as well as premium quality coconut oil and Shea butter so it's safe for baby's skin.  I love how the calming smell and soothing rub promoted peaceful sleep for little Henry and also acted as a natural decongestant for any runny nose congestion he had while teething. Henry and I both looked forward to a soothing aromatic rub before bedtime and naps.  I have also even been using it on my older two kiddos. Both Hunter and Hayden seem to catch any little throat irritant that's floating in the universe and between preschool, kindergarten, daycare, church and play times, it feels like we have had weekly congestion.  The kids have loved the Pure Sleep and Breathe as a part of their nighttime routine as well and agree it smells so much better than the other decongestant rubs we've used in the past.

These Moccs are perfect for littles who are still new on their feet (if walking at all) and fit snug onto the feet with an elastic band. Hayden has little tiny feet and we never have a problem with the Moccs getting kicked off in the stroller or as she's crawling and dragging her feet all over. The Moccs keep her feet really warm, which is great for winter. The are so cute in their fabulous colors and with their adorable fringe.

I was so excited when my Latchy Catchy package showed up in the mail with the cutest little note from Lyndsey (who both her and her husband happen to be a BYU Grads like Kev - Go Cougs!). I didn't hesitate to put mine to use right away. (I may or may not have tried it on EVERY interior door!) You guys... in ALL honesty, I have NEVER been more excited about a 'mommy must have' product. What a GENIUS idea The Lacthy Catchy is. I cannot tell you how many times those silly clicks of the knobs or slamming door when the AC turns on has woken up a sleeping baby in my house! 
I am so in LOVE with The Latchy Catchy. It's been a lifesaver in our home the last month. With a newborn, and a toddler who is having night terrors EVERY NIGHT, we have been able to keep our newborn sleeping while allowing our toddler access to open his door if he is scared. It truly has been wonderful when I go in to check on Hunter, before I go to bed, to not have to worry about the silly door knob click spooking him awake. I love the quality of the fabric (not to mention their adorable patterns) the elastic bands that stretch and fit around door knobs with ease, the fabulous price at just around $10, and the durability to take on a two year old. 

I definitely need at least one more Latchy Catchy so I can put one on the garage door. How awesome to have The Latchy Catchy on a door I am CONSTANTLY coming in and out of without a free hand. It's always a carseat in one hand, diaper bag, groceries or Hunter toys in the other. The Latchy Catchy is perfect to allow me to just bump the door open. I also can't wait to take our Latchy Catchy with us on vacation next week.  We'll be staying at my parents and in-laws house and it will be nice to have the door silencer on unfamiliar doors!    This is definitely one of those "fulfilling a need" products and I know that it is and will continue to be SUPER SUCCESSFUL.

MaryKay Review

Last month I had a friend from High School notice my inquiry to find and try a CC Cream.  It seems to be the newest "it" beauty product and I am so in love with my BB Cream that I figured it was a product I needed to test out for myself.
Sweet Brittany is a MaryKay consultant and jumped on the opportunity to share her company's amazing products with me.
I was so surprised when this ADORABLE box showed up on my doorstep just a few short days after we spoke.

First Impressions Seriously though, how cute is this box? The pink hearts all over? Love! 

I was so happy to see a box that had actually had some thought behind it's design. It was such a breath of fresh air to feel like I was actually getting something really special instead of a product just tossed in the nearest piece of cardboard someone could find. Inside Brittney surprised me with not just a CC cream but a handful of other amazing products to try. Just look at the goodies she sent me.

The packaging of each product is so clean and easy to read.  Plus it's PINK... and we all know how I feel about Pink.

The Products CC Cream (Very Light)

I love that this product has a push top that lets out just enough product.  Previous BB/CC Creams I have used that have a squeeze container, instead of top, sometimes squeezes out too much product that I obviously can't put it back in.  I hate wasting so this is a fabulous design.

This CC Cream is one of the smoothest products I have ever used.  It honestly feels like I am rubbing silk across my face. The cream covers lightly for a natural look. The coverage is great and I love how the color matches my skin tone. It covers my imperfections and skin color changes but still allows my freckles to show through for a flawless-looking complexion. I love that it has SPF 15.  With my fair complexion and skin cancer that runs in my family, I am always looking for products that not only have great coverage but also protect my skin from sun damage.  At the end of the day my face doesn't like feel oily and after a few times of use I can verify this product doesn't cause me any breakouts. 

I Absolutely LOVE MaryKay's CC Cream.

Nothing Negative to say about this product at all.

Lash Primer/Lash Love Lengthening Mascara (Black)

 I have very short and BLONDE eye lashes so Mascara is one of the most important beauty products I use. 

The Lash Primer is a thin clear serum that applies nicely with a mascara brush.

I loved how the primer works sort of as a pre-mascara comb through. 

The primer nicely separates each eye lash and I can tell that it instantly extends my lashes.

The Lash Primer works great for helping mascara wear longer and I love how it helps the mascara not flake after a whole days wear.

The LashLove Lengthening Mascara is also a great product.

I really like how the brush allows for the mascara to go on each lash without clumping. 

I like how the mascara is soft and doesn't feel like it weighs down my lashes. 

Like I said earlier, my eyelashes are very thin and blonde so I usually purchase a mascara that goes on thick to intensify my lashes.

I did have to do several applications of the MaryKay Mascara to get my lashes to the thickness that I wanted but like I mentioned earlier, this Mascara is light-weight and doesn't weigh down my eyelashes like my usual thick mascara does.

Again, two more fabulous products.

True Dimensions Lipstick (Wild About Pink)

I JUST started wearing Lipstick in the last year and I have LOVED getting to play with so many different colors and brands as I explore and discover PROS & CONS of what I like and don't like about Lipstick.

(I was always a chap stick kinda girl)

I am so in love with this gorgeous color that MaryKay makes and think it's perfect for the upcoming summer season.

The color actually wears a lot calmer/lighter then I expected it to which makes it perfect for a day out or even as a mommy pick me up for a day I stay in my PJs all day.

Career cars are awarded to team leaders who work with 14 or more beauty consultants. I’m excited about our qualification because it’s a representation of a large group of women making money for their families. Working with my team I get to see families that are less stressed financially or my college girls that are graduating with fewer loans or debt free, and that’s something I'm every proud to be a part of!
