This weekend Hunter had the chance to meet his Great Grandma and Grandpa Ford.
It was such a neat experience for Kevin and I to spend some time with his grandparents.
Grandma Ford was completely enamored with little Hunter.
Hunter is the 19th great-grand baby on the Ford side.
Grandma Ford is such a lovely lady.
She has all of the grandchildren and great grand children's full names and birthdays written down in a little book of hers. She absolutely loves her family and you can tell how proud she is of her THREE children and their spouses, her FOURTEEN grandchildren and almost TWENTY great grandchildren.
I love to visit with them and listen to her go on about her posterity. She has wonderful stories and you can see on her face the love she has for each member of her family.
Hunter also got to meet the namesake for his middle name.
Grandpa Ford's middle name is Edward. Kevin was given that middle name when he was born and when we found out we were having a boy, we just knew we wanted to honor Grandpa Ford and continue the name.
Kevin is very close to his grandfather and it is so special that our son can share a part of Grandpa Ford and Kevin's special relationship.
We are so blessed to have incredible family on both the Ford and Goold sides.
We are so excited for Hunter's blessing day when we will be surrounded by so many people who have made Kevin and I the people we are today which in turn led to this beautiful little baby and special child of God.

ReplyDeleteHey Julie! When r u visiting Utah again? We live in american fork so were close to Kim and Leanne. Grandma n grandpa love little hunter. I want to get a 4 generation photo when my dad comes down in September for his blessing. How r u guys? Another baby is on the way I hear:)
