Because tomorrow, or rather TODAY since it's 1:30am, we are MOVING.
I can still hardly believe we are homeowners and that we have a mortgage and utilities to pay.
That we have a yard (starting next week) to mow and weed.
That we have garbage cans and a mailbox of our own!
That we have garbage cans and a mailbox of our own!
It is all so exciting.
Almost surreal.
That dream of having our own home has finally come true!
(Thanks to my amazing, incredible, super awesome and hot husband)
A huge Thank you to everyone for all of the well wishes and kind words about our home.
It seriously gets me all emotional
(because I'm Kyla and that's what I do)
to see so much love!
So, I thought since I couldn't sleep, and because you are all so kind, I would post some house facts and photos of the inside of our beautiful new home.
Plus, I know you are all DYING to see it.
I'll write more later of how this whole home buying bit came about so quickly but here are a few facts and photos for your weekend viewing.
Lot 50 Facts:
The home was built in 2013 (duh).
It was built by Edge Homes
(We LOVED working with them and the awesome selling agent Amanda..
(Kevin represented himself which was great)

It is on .18 acres (smaller then we originally wanted but still enough).
It is 3 stories (2 plus a basement)
It's 2200 sq feet finished and 1000 sq feet (basement) unfinished
(3200 sq feet total).
(3200 sq feet total).
2 car garage.
It has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
The master bedroom is AMAZING
(because of its beautiful bathroom and HUGE walk in closet).
The color in the kitchen is ESPRESSO (not black).
Granite counter tops.
Laminate (wood looking) floors throughout kitchen and dining.
All hardware is OIL RUBBED (instead of standard silver).
Open stairwell with rod iron bars.
Beautiful views of the mountains.
AMAZING neighborhood
(our street only has one entrance and 3 dead ends so no through traffic... LOVE that)
Close to the freeway and LOTS of shopping.
Basically it is the PERFECT starter home as our little family grows.
I feel so blessed to have such an amazing house as my FIRST home.
Happy WEEKEND Readers.
