This little Piggy....

Is the newest member of the Goold family.
My sister Haley turned 17 last week and she asked for a micro pig...
And she actually GOT ONE.
(obviously the favorite child
#youngestchildproblems)
Mom showed up to school with 17 pink balloons and a pig balloon with this little note introducing Haley to her new pet.

Our dear TALENTED family friend Rhonda made this ADORABLE piggy mud bath cake for Ms. Haley.
(She also made Kevin & I cookies before we got hitched. See THIS post)

Haley has been talking about Micro Pigs for some time now and even wrote a persuasive essay for a class assignment about why they make great household pets and why she should have one.

Did you know?!?!

-Micro pigs, as opposed to what most of us believe, are very clean animals. They can be trained to use a liter box.
-They are trainable, highly smart and intelligent. They can even learn tricks.
-They are friendly and highly sociable.
-They mingle with cats and dogs.

Now it may not seem like THAT big of a deal to get a mini farm animal as a pet in a suburban neighborhood,
Except that my parents have FOUR dogs already and a cat.
Literally, it's a ZOO.

Stay tuned for more updates and pictures.
Welcome to the family little Eloise.
