I see these floating around my dashboard every now and then and think they have some creative writing subjects and "get to know me" questions. 

Isn't that why I started blogging in the first place? For my love of writing?

Yes.

So, here it goes.

No promises I will make it the full 31 days but I'll try.

(Might get a little busy with some rumored visitors that may or may not be coming to Utah soon)

Day 1 - May 1st: The story of your life in 250 words or less.

I was born in Sacramento, CA in 1987. 

I am the oldest of 5 children. My siblings and I were very close growing up, 5 kids in eight years, and we spent LOTS of time as a family. 

I love my family. My parents and siblings are some of my best friends. 

I have traveled across the United States, to Mexico, the Bahamas and Dubai. I love to travel. 

I played soccer for MANY years. I lettered as a sophomore in high school and then never played again. I was in Student Government in high school. I can honestly credit that class to keeping me out of trouble for four years.  

I made a decision when I was 18 that made me grow up quicker then most at that age. It turned out to be the wrong decision but I know I am a stronger person because of the experiences I had at that time. My only brother passed away unexpectedly at the age of 18. A small piece of me died when I lost him but I am so grateful for the knowledge that I will be with him again someday. 

I married my husband in March of 2011. In the two years since, we had our first son and bought our first home. 

Best Two Years Ever. 

I love my husband and son and the life that we are building together. 

I love Disneyland, Starbucks, Dr. Pepper, shopping, shoes, purses, make-up and magazines. 

Smiling is my favorite.
