worst Blogger ever.

20 days since I last blogged?!

Blah.

I should be fired.

It has been a crazy three weeks but I am excited to be back and update you all on that has been happening with The Fords.

After my dad and then my sister McKenna both visited Utah in the beginning of the month, it was only fair that my mama came for a stay as well.

She arrived by train on Wednesday May 8th and stayed until Monday the 13th.

It was AMAZING to have her here and we had so much fun.

Hunter was just a LITTLE excited to have his Grandma here.

We enjoyed a few days of complete relaxation. Staying in our PJ's all day, watching TV shows, drinking Diet Coke and enjoying being together.

On Friday we went to the Beehive Bazaar handmade craft event and Sundance for lunch.

We obviously LOVE Sundance.

Right when we got there Daniel was ending his shift (both my sister and her husband work at Sundance) so he was able to join us for lunch.

We sure Love Aubrey & Daniel and are so glad they live close and that we get to see them often.

Probably one of my FAVORITE photos ever. He ADORES his Grandma.

Sunday was Mothers Day.

My FIRST Mothers Day.

It was PERFECT.

Of course It was extra special because my mom was here.

What better way to spend Mothers Day then with my mother and the one who made me a mother.

Our day started with Breakfast in Bed.

Kevin's famous french toast.

The weather was beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Perfect for a mini mommy photo shoot.

Aubrey came over to celebrate Mothers Day with us and Daniel joined us later in the evening for games! 

Dinner was delicious.

Tri-tip (that marinated for three days), potatoes, corn, homemade rolls and a white carmel macadamia nut cheesecake.

Mom went home Monday night.

How come time flies so fast when you are having so much fun?!

We had an incredible week hanging out with the family.

One of our FAVORITE parts was the many late night games of HEADS UP.

Selfie. Not a self breast examination. 

After mom left the three little Fords were sick.
Really Sick.
Mom left Monday and for the next 7 days our home needed to be quarantined.
Coughing, sneezing, runny noses and poor Hunter got the WORST rash I have ever seen.
All week we stayed inside trying to SURVIVE and going a little stir crazy.

It wasn't until Saturday afternoon that we were able to leave the house.
A late brunch at The Crepe Co and a walk around the GORGEOUS BYU campus was about all we could handle but it was so nice to get some fresh air.

It's a new week and we are all feeling a little better.
Headed to St. George this weekend for some sun and a little family vaca.
