My cousin and his wife own a jewelry shop, based here in Utah, called Nuts for Tagua.

My cousin served his mission in Ecuador and that is where he was first introduced to this BEAUTIFUL, unique jewelry made from a Tagua Nut.

Tagua is a type of nut that grows from a tree belonging to the palm family. The tree grows naturally from Southern Panama, along the Andes mountains in Ecuador, then all the way into Peru and Bolivia.

The nuts are removed from the tree and local Ecuadorian artisans polish each individual piece of tagua.

The tagua piece is then handcrafted into a beautiful unique piece of jewelry. 

When my cousin brought a few stunning pieces back after his mission, my sisters, cousins and extended family members fell IN LOVE with the quality, colors and styles.

They also have great bracelets and earrings and are hoping to expand to more accessories like watches and purses in the future!

My cousin and his wife recently traveled back to Ecuador to buy more Tagua and bring it to the United States in hopes that they can share the amazing work of the local Ecuadorian artisans, and get Tagua into the homes of everyday stylish, fashionable women who want a quality piece of jewelry they can wear with any outfit for any occasion.
