Last night I was so lucky to be invited to a wonderful blogger event at
Xtend Barre in Provo.
I have heard about Xtend, and walked by a few times during trips to the Riverwoods and have always been interested to take a class.
When I got the invite I was a little nervous about an hour long workout class since I am 31 weeks pregnant and have done VERY minimal exercising throughout this pregnancy.
(my excuse is that I chase around a 30lb toddler all day and that's exhausting enough)
My husband convinced me I needed to go and my blogger BFF Bri agreed that even if I wasn't able to do all the activity I could still be with friends and have a night out.
I am so glad I went.
Our instructor Stacy talked to me before the class started and let me know she would help me with some alternate positions for some of the workout for my pregnant body.
She was so great and reassured me it was OK to just listen to my body and not over due it trying to keep up with the routine.
I tried my best and felt pretty comfortable throughout the class.
I absolutely loved the routine.
I will be back to Xtend Barre for sure once this baby girl is born.
I can't think of a better way to help get my body back in shape post baby!

That looks like so much fun! I hardly did any exercising during my pregnancy since I would swell up like a balloon so props to you for doing this class!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked it. Come back after your baby, and I'll work you out. :) It was nice to meet you.
