Easter Weekend in Photos.

What an incredible Easter weekend we had.

We started the fun on Friday with a little Easter Egg Hunt with some of the little neighbor boys Hunters age.
My sweet neighbor Tristin put the whole thing together and it was absolutely adorable!
Needless to say it was Hunter's first time doing the whole "egg in the basket" thing, so he ate most of the goodies while he was hunting.
Silly Kid

Later that afternoon we headed to Lehi Main Street where local business were passing out Easter Candy and then to the Lehi Legacy Center where they hosted an egg drop.
The Egg Drop was madness. Kids were everywhere and they did not have enough eggs.
Poor Hunter only got 1 egg but that was enough to satisfy him.

On Saturday afternoon we spent time as a family at The Legacy Center pool.
Hunter absolutely loved it and now walks around saying "SLIDE. WET."
We will definitely be spending lots of time there this summer.

The Easter Bunny stopped by our house bright and early Sunday morning.
Hunter followed the rabbit trail to his basket full of goodies and then went on an early morning egg hunt around the house!

And what's a holiday without an Easter tantrum!
I made my famous Cinnamon rolls for my boys for Breakfast.

We attended church as a family to remember THE REAL REASON we celebrate Easter.

He sure LOVES The Wheels On The Bus song.

We took (well TRIED TO since Toddlers have a mind of their own) lots of Easter Family Photos.

I sure love this adorable family of mine.

Then later that evening we had my sister Aubrey, her husband Daniel and their foster son "BIG J" over for dinner, Easter Baskets from Papa & Grams Goold and another Easter Egg Hunt.
We sure love spending time with them and are so grateful they could spend this holiday with us.

(DISCLAIMER * Since Big J is still in Foster Care we aren't able to post his face on the blog.. but he was in ALMOST ALL our pictures from all the fun that evening so we have "edited" the photos so you can still see what a good time the boys had.)

Then we took cousin photos and they were ADORABLE!

It was such an amazing weekend.
I am so grateful for Easter and even though it was so fun to see Hunter light up with excitement at all of the fun things we did, I hope that as he gets older he can learn, understand and appreciate the true meaning of Easter and resurrection of our Savior.
I know I have a testimony of the resurrection, I am so grateful for the atonement and know that #becauseofhim I can have amazing weekends like this with my family for all of my life.

Did you catch the Easter Message this year?
Watch it here now.

Hope you all had a lovely holiday!
